The message of each story - in my opinion:

Story #1: “you can not connect dots looking forward, you can only connect them looking backward” – things happen because of certain reason, and we won’t understand them looking forwards. If there are any obstacles we have to believe that they are for something, and later we will understand them looking backward.

Sotry #2 : “Keep looking, don’t settle “ – If we still don’t know what we want to do, who we want to be, we have to keep looking for our passion and never settle no matter how many obstacles we will have in our life. Love what you do, know who you want to become and don’t lose faith. -" Keep looking, don't settle."

Story # 3: “Stay hungry, stay foolish” – Don’t think that if you are good at something means you know everything about this thing. Memento mori, so don’t afraid of death, it is a part of the life.Follow your heart, stay hungry of knowledge, stay curious of new horizons, and carpe diem because you don’t know when will be the last they of your life.

Are you a successful person?

Another hard question from our teacher Patricia.
For this question, I will try to answer as simple as I can.

Q : Are you a successful person?

According to my answer "What does it mean to be successful? What does it mean to be a loser? Give your own definition. " for the movie Miss Little Sunshine, my answer for this question is:
"I am not yet a successful person".

I think, that instead of all my small achievement, what I have reached till this time, they are only a component of the word "success". I believe that to be successfull, I need to work hard in every aspect of my life through out my life and in the end if I am able to say: “I am happy of my life and I am ready to experience it again.”, I will be a successful person.

I also would like to show you another video, this one is one of many example of an extraordinary perspective to the meaning of being successful.

I have asked myself many times what is happiness. Happiness is not only a state of being, because if it is, we all would take a “happy pill”.
Happiness is not poverty, nor is it prosperity. If it is, half of human population would be happy.

For me happiness is
To be born in a peaceful country, where I can realize my dreams;
To experience sadness, in order to be aware of joyfulness;
To weep with emotion;
To see beauty, and to notice simple things;

Are these a measurement of success?
For everyone, success has a different meaning.
For parents, it is to raise a child.

For a fisherman, it is to catch a fish.

My definition of being successful is to experience an exciting, thrilling life and at the end of the road, I would be able to confidentially say: “I am happy of my life and I am ready to experience it again.”In a converse manner, a loser is one who does not learn anything from their life. He or she takes a step back from life, leading to a non-content individual whom is on the road to being suicidal.

so.... Q23. What is good parenting?

From my point of view good parenting provides the basic fundamentals of security, love, honesty and happiness. All these values a child should experience from his or her parents.
I also think that parents should be an authority for their children but not impose their own view. They usually give them good advices, but they also should let them make their own decision, no matter what the consequence it will bring.

Hi!
My name is Trang.
I was born in Hanoi, Vietnam.
I was living in Poland and now I want to finish my education in Canada.
I'm interested in painting,taking pictures,cooking, traveling and traveling...
...sometimes I think that i was born to travel.

As a 5 years old girl i was attending kinder garden in Hanoi.Then my parents decided to move to Poland, but before I came to Poland I was living in Sankt Petersburg and Moscow for 3 months.I still remember these cities. They are magic and I hope that i will come back there one day.
Gdnask is the city which is situated close to The Baltic Sea. I was living there for 14years.
My last 2 years in high school I had to finish in Warsaw.Warsaw is the capital of Poland and the biggest city in Poland.( believe me, this city is good for education but not for long vacation!)

Now I'm almost 21 years old and I want to become a nurse. I'm trying to transfer my credits from Medical University of Warsaw to York University. Before this I will have to finish my English course in YUELI.

P.S: I want to find ppl who like classic music. Please let me know if you do.
