This is one of my favorite band. I'm publishing this video with a dedication to my family and friends who are far away from me.
So, so you think you can tell, Heaven from hell, blue sky from pain. Can you tell a green field, from a cold steel rail, A smile from a veil, Do you think you can tell?
And did they get you to trade Your heroes for ghost, hot ashes for trees, Hot air for a cool breeze, Cold comfort for change, Did you exchange a walk on part in a war For a lead role in a cage?
How I wish, how I wish you were here. We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, Year after year, Running over the same old ground. What have we found? The same old fears, wish you were here.
1) What is the message of each story? 2) Write your own story based on something that you have experienced.
The message of each story - in my opinion:
Story #1: “you can not connect dots looking forward, you can only connect them looking backward” – things happen because of certain reason, and we won’t understand them looking forwards. If there are any obstacles we have to believe that they are for something, and later we will understand them looking backward.
Sotry #2 : “Keep looking, don’t settle “ – If we still don’t know what we want to do, who we want to be, we have to keep looking for our passion and never settle no matter how many obstacles we will have in our life. Love what you do, know who you want to become and don’t lose faith. -" Keep looking, don't settle."
Story # 3: “Stay hungry, stay foolish” – Don’t think that if you are good at something means you know everything about this thing. Memento mori, so don’t afraid of death, it is a part of the life.Follow your heart, stay hungry of knowledge, stay curious of new horizons, and carpe diem because you don’t know when will be the last they of your life.
Will, I hope that “24” will be a lucky number for you. I was thinking what I can make for your birthday. I remember the French movie “8 fammes”, which I recommended you and I saw that you like it.
This video I found especially for you. It shows shortly the Merlin Monroe’s life – the legend and icon of American’s cinematography.
